    When Justice Heals

    REMEMBERING CHRISTINE CASAREZ

    It is with profound sadness that the National Treatment Court Alumni Association shares the passing of our co-founder and former Board Member, Christine Casarez, following a courageous battle with health challenges.


    Christine played a pivotal role in establishing NTCAA, providing visionary leadership that strengthened alumni engagement nationwide. Her dedicated advocacy advanced treatment courts and supported individuals navigating substance use disorder within the justice system.


    In Texas, she led transformative alumni initiatives, profoundly impacting countless lives through her tenacity, commitment to recovery, and service. NTCAA mourns the loss of her contributions and extends deepest condolences to her family, friends, and the broader recovery community.
